Hypnobirthing for Calm in Birth

HypnoBirthing is a wonderful full childbirth education course, that helps you enjoy a calm, relaxed and comfortable birth, feeling confident and totally in control.

There are no pendulums swinging, no magic, and I wont ask you to walk around on the floor clucking like a chicken…. when using hypnosis, you are TOTALLY in control. It is just deep relaxation. And anyway, hypnosis is only a very small part of the HypnoBirthing course….

You’ll learn how fear has a negative impact on your birthing body, and you’ll learn how to release any fear you have surrounding your baby’s birth, how to stay relaxed using selfhypnosis, deep relaxation, affirmations, visualisations.

I like to keep the group course nice and small with a maximum of 6 couples, which gives room for personal attention and questions.

The price is € 350 (inc. VAT) and includes:

  • Approximately 12 hours of tuition
  • Book – HypnoBirthing The Mongan Method (*NEW* 4th Edition!)
  • Rainbow Relaxation & Affirmations CD/download
  • Class handouts
  • Refreshments
  • Telephone, text, email support before, during and after your baby’s birth
  • A chance to meet other parents and make life-time friends
  • Optional membership to the Calm Waves Bumps & Babies Facebook group

If you can’t make one of the group course class dates, we can arrange a make-up session, in your own home, for an additional fee of €60 (inc. VAT), so you don’t miss a session. Also Skype calls are an option if your birth partner cannot make it in-person for one of the sessions, he/she can then dial in.

Classes are taught by Miranda Funnell from Calm Waves Hypnobirhting and Massage, who is an experienced HypnoBirthing®Practitioner, Massage Therapist, Developmental Baby Massage Teacher and a doula-in-training. More information on Miranda and her services: https://www.calmwaveshypnobirthing.com/.
